The former chapel of Saint Carlo
The former chapel of Saint Carlo whose construction is estimated to have taken place around 1905, is located in the historical town centre, near the Parish church of Saint Benedetto. It was built by a Limone citizen in memory of her husband and was dedicated to Saint Carlo. During World War I it was also used as a store for food for the troops. In around 1930 the altar and sacred furnishings were removed. The building was later used for civil events and during the Second World War it was requisitioned for military use. Since the sixties it has been used for cultural and charity events.
